Tom and Tamar Vintnor City Beach Proposal

The beach holds so many happy memories for Tamar. She grew up in Westhampton, NY, and her summer memories have been shared at Vintnor City Beach in New Jersey. When Tom came into Tamar's life, the couple started making their own ocean-side memories. It made perfect sense that Tom would propose to her on the Jersey shore.

I was so excited and honored to photograph this Jersey Shore Proposal. I arrived early and found the beautiful display waiting for us. As the couple started to make their way towards the beach, I was there with a camera in hand to capture every moment. The sky was cloudy, which was actually perfect because the beach was almost empty, a rarity in the summer. Tom read the sweetest love letter before he got down on one knee and asked Tamar to spend forever with him. She, of course, said yes through happy tears!

After every proposal, I take engagement photos of the couple, and that’s just what we did this day. The sky started to drizzle raindrops, which made it all the more romantic, especially when the sky opened just enough for a warm sunset. It felt like a scene from a movie.
