Justin and Jen Surprise Proposal

The couple visited Philadelphia from DC to spend a nice anniversary weekend together. They booked a suite at the gorgeous Guild House Hotel. Justin made a beautiful scrapbook for her, and the engagement ring was hidden inside. For their surprise proposal, I arrived early at the hotel and went to the lobby to set the scene and get ready. Flowers arrived, and I carefully displayed them on a table to be waiting for them. I then sat at the table next to the proposal spot and pretended to read as they came in. They sat and talked about memories, and when Jen got to the ring, Justin got down on one knee, and I grabbed my camera to photograph the proposal. I captured so many beautiful moments, and Jen was definitely surprised.

After popping some champagne and taking some time to celebrate, it was time for some engagement portraits. After every proposal, I do a mini-engagement session with couples, so you have even more memories of the day. We took some portraits in their suite because it was raining a bit. Once the rain stopped, we were able to walk around the beautiful streets of Philly, which are filled with so much beauty and character.
